Martin's Approach to Marketing and Communications
-
Multi-Touchpoint Engagement That Converts: Martin builds comprehensive communication plans that guide donors, volunteers, and community partners through a structured engagement journey. Events are never one-off moments—they’re built to spark deeper involvement through 18 annual personalized touch points across email, phone, print, social, in-person, and follow-up experiences.
-
Transparent Systems and Ownership: All project components will be managed through Trello or another shared project management system, offering full visibility into task status, timelines, and outcomes. Monthly productivity reports will track progress, while all tools, content, and deliverables will remain editable, shareable, and owned by the organization and integrated into appropriate technology. There are no “black boxes.”
-
Authentic, Mission-Aligned Communications: Martin’s content strategy centers on real stories from real families, staff, and volunteers. Stock or AI-generated imagery will be minimized. Instead, we’ll use emotionally resonant, short-form materials that invite immediate action—whether it’s RSVPing, donating, or sharing a story.
-
“Short and Powerful” Events: The program will be punchy and concise, with quick intervals and stories and recognition and a total event program length of 30 minutes or less. The tone is inspiring, heartfelt, and honest—designed to move the audience through the full arc of emotion: sadness, hope, joy, laughter, and ultimately, action.
-
Beautiful Aesthetic: Martin is a mural artist who knows how to create both physical and digital spaces that feel welcoming, emotionally resonant, and true to the mission.
